I want to start linking other articles and blog posts that I’ve read throughout the week. Ones that totally inspire me and let you know why they are so inspirational!!

To me, there is nothing more than a hard working woman to make you feel inspired about yourself. Someone who makes a plan and tries her hardest to stay on track!

That’s what my mom did. She’s been working at UPS in Louisville, Kentucky for almost 25 years now. She has all the benefits she needs, A LOT of vacation time and seniority within the company. (Fun fact: I used to work there too. For two years actually… Why I didn’t stay with it? Well, that’s for another blog post)

My sister is the same way. She started working as a receptionist for a hospital and now she manages a team within a neurosurgeons office at University of Louisville Hospital.

And then there is me. One again, ‘making a mistake’. Not ‘sticking’ with something. Dreaming ‘too big’. I’m not sure what it is about me that can’t sit still and be content with what I’ve already got. But, I just don’t want to be still and content with what I have. Society says “Morgan, you are 24. It’s time to just stick with a job, own a house and a car.” (You know, the Rat Race life cushioned by the ‘American Dream‘ title) And when I’m lucky, I hear “Omgsh, you’re 24? Girlll, you have so much life ahead of you. You’re still a baby

I don’t want a job building someone else’s dream for the rest of my life. Sure, I’ll have to do that for a while, but I want to be my own boss. Make money for myself ; make my dreams come true and inspire others to do the same. I want to travel, I don’t want to be tied down to a house payment already. I don’t want to be tied down to working 45 days to get 1 vacation day. I have a lot of work ahead of me!

Within the last year I have researched and obsessed over blogging. I’ve researched women who have taken the leap that I want to do so badly and Be My Own Boss! I watched a YouTube series about being your own boss a while back, but since then that series has been updated through blog posts! Check it out!!
